《彭博》引述消息报道，世茂集团(00813.HK) 的一家债权银行新加坡大华银行正与私募信贷投资者洽谈，希望脱手一笔今年到期的100亿元贷款。
世茂于2022年借入该笔贷款，并将于今年9月30日到期，贷款由香港九龙塘的Beacon Peak楼盘担保。世茂正在寻求出售资产偿债。根据销售文件，该公司本月将Beacon Peak的13个单位挂牌标售。记录显示，截至1月18日，已出售其中三伙，价格介乎2,800万至3,700万元，惟与所涉贷款金额仍相距甚远。
分析指出，私募信贷投资者的参与可能会让正在进行中的债务重组进程变得更加复杂，因为他们的商业模式通常是在借款人违约时扣押他们的资产，而债权人也盯上Beacon Peak。
