1024 GMT - Novo Nordisk will further scale up its production, supply and employment to drive innovation, its executive vice president for Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, Camilla Sylvest, tells Bloomberg TV at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Innovation is key to compete with other players, Sylvest says when asked about industry peers grappling with patent losses by the end of the decade. "It's a big task, that's why you see us continue to scale both in production, product supply, bringing those treatment to patients, but also in terms of the number of people we employ in our company," Sylvest says.
