Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) said it identified mineralized veins over the Droughtmaster corridor and historic mine areas at Cascada, within its Cerro Bayo silver-gold project in Chile, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Vein rock chip results from the Droughtmaster corridor include an intercept of 14,514 grams per tonne grade of silver equivalent, comprising 7,547g/t silver and 83.9 g/t gold.
Significant vein rock chip results at the historic mine areas at the Cascada underground mine include 135,800 g/t silver equivalent, comprising 7,839 g/t silver and 1,542 g/t gold.
The firm is also working on the next planned resource update, which is expected in the first quarter.
Shares rose over 4% at market close on Friday.
