Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) hit gold from a drill program at the St Anne's area within the Murchison gold project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program intersected thick mineralization with yields of up to 33 meters at 3.1 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 42 meters, including 1 meter at 28.5 g/t gold and 4 meters at 9.2 g/t gold from 57 meters, including 1 meter at 35.4 g/t gold, the filing said.
Shares of the mining firm fell nearly 5% in recent Tuesday trade.
