消息面上，九毛九公布，2024年第四季度，太二(仅限自营)、怂火锅及九毛九同店日均销售额同比分别减少24.6%、26.9%及18.5%。摩根士丹利发布研报称，第四季度太二的同店销售同比下降25%，较第三季的18%同比跌幅扩大，怂火锅SSSG跌幅收窄至27%。太二从去年9月至12月关闭20间门店。农历新年前的门店关闭表明经营前景受到挑战，公司的关注点是改善现有的业务。大摩相信九毛九门店网络的“下行周期”将持续一段时间，公司正优化同店运营。
大摩下调九毛九目标价39.5%，从3.8港元降至2.3港元，评级从“与大市同步”降至“减持”，主因是削减2025年盈利预测22%。大摩称，九毛九主要品牌"太二"第四季度有新店关闭，因此预计门店网络以及同店运营将需要一段时间优化。
