LG (KRX:003550) subsidiary LG CNS signed a memorandum of understanding with California-based Bear Robotics to co-develop logistics robot solutions, Pulse News reported Tuesday.
The collaboration will focus on large autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for transporting heavy industrial items and small AMRs for uninterrupted operation within LG CNS' automated logistics systems, the report said.
The partnership aims to offer a diverse range of AMRs and control solutions customized for logistics centers, it said.
Shares of LG rose nearly 2% at market close on Wednesday.
