0106 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index edges 0.2% higher to 3804.19, tracking Wall Street's gains overnight. The main theme has been risk-on, in response to news of no immediate new tariffs from U.S. President Trump, Commerzbank Research analysts say in a research report. While Trump alluded to prospects of imposing 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, the markets seems to have mostly brushed aside Trump's remarks, the analysts add. Among the best performers on the benchmark index, Mapletree Logistics Trust rises 1.6%, CapitaLand Investment adds 1.2%, and Sembcorp Industries is up 1.1%. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
