智通财经APP获悉，霍尼韦尔(HON.US)旗下量子软件部门Quantinuum宣布在新墨西哥州建立新的研发中心，美股量子计算股票应声大涨。
Quantinuum表示，拟建的中心将专注于光子学技术，这将有助于推进捕获离子量子计算技术。
Quantinuum总裁兼首席执行官 Rajeeb Hazra表示：“作为量子计算领域的领军企业，Quantinuum 在新墨西哥州找到了理想的合作伙伴。该州充满活力的技术生态系统和高技能劳动力与我们的战略目标完美契合。”
此前有报道称，Quantinuum将获得8亿美元投资，其中州政府拨款2.1亿美元，联邦政府拨款2.2亿美元，另外还有3.5亿美元来自在该州投资的量子公司。
消息公布后，霍尼韦尔股价上涨1.1%，其他量子计算股票大涨，其中，Arqit Quantum(ARQQ.US)上涨9%，IonQ Inc(IONQ.US)、Quantum Computing(QUBT.US)涨近17%，D-Wave Quantum(QBTS.US)涨超19%，Rigetti Computing(RGTI.US)飙升42%。
