P&G's Muted Beauty Segment to Be Offset by Rest of Business -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
23 Jan

1254 ET - Procter & Gamble's latest results represented a solid quarter for the maker of Gillette razors and Tide Pods, BofA Securities analysts say in a research note. The company's beauty business remains muted due to continue declines in China, but the analysts believe the rest of the business can support near-term softness. "We do believe there is further upside to fiscal 2025 earnings per share if industry promotional levels remain steady," the analysts add. Shares rise 2.6% to $165.98.
