Cathay Pacific (HKG:0293) will pay bonuses equivalent to at least four weeks' pay after Hong Kong's flag carrier returned to pre-pandemic capacity in January, The Standard reported, citing Chief Executive Ronald Lam Siu-por.
The bonuses will be given under a profit-sharing scheme, while the final payment amount will be released alongside the airline's 2024 annual report, up for release in March, The Standard said.
Cathay Pacific has completed its "rebuild journey" in 2024 and reported strong financials for two straight years, enabling Cathay Pacific to return to pre-pandemic capacity and promise HK$100 billion in investments, the report said, citing Lam.
