China Nonferrous Mining (HKG:1258) expects a profit attributable to the owners of $400 million for 2024, 44% higher than that of 2023, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The mining company attributed the expected increase to the increase in international copper prices during the reporting period.

The company also said it expects to produce 540,000 tons of copper, 1 million tons of sulphuric acid, 900 tons of cobalt contained in cobaltous hydroxide, and 10,000 tons of liquid sulfur dioxide in 2025.
