甲骨文董事长大力宣扬AI驱动mRNA疫苗，Moderna等个股应声走高
1月23日，在甲骨文董事长Larry Ellison强调人工智能(AI)在开发mRNA癌症疫苗方面的潜力后，Moderna(MRNA.US)成为周三美股涨幅引人注目的股票之一。数据显示，Moderna周三收涨7.27%，报38.50美元/股。
与此同时，以人工智能为重点的药物开发商也随之走高，AbCellera Biologics(ABCL.US)收涨15.36%，Absci(ABSI.US)收涨25.16%，Schrodinger(SDGR.US)收涨14.11%，Ginkgo Bioworks(DNA.US)收涨11.40%，Tempus AI(TEM.US)收涨5.90%，Recursion Pharmaceuticals(RXRX.US)收涨8.87%。
Larry Ellison表示，人工智能可用于开发基于mRNA的个性化癌症疫苗和早期肿瘤检测。他解释称，人工智能可以用来分析旨在识别血液中循环的微小肿瘤碎片的测试，在对癌变分子进行基因测序后，个体化的癌症疫苗可以在大约两天内开发出来。他表示：“一旦我们对癌症肿瘤进行基因测序，你就可以为每个人设计一种疫苗，让他们接种疫苗来对抗这种癌症。你可以在大约48小时内用人工智能机器人制造这种mRNA疫苗。”
Moderna在2024年与OpenAI达成合作，在其业务中部署了人工智能公司ChatGPT Enterprise，旨在加速药物开发。Moderna与默沙东(MRK.US)合作开发的个性化癌症疫苗mRNA-4157目前正处于针对皮肤癌黑色素瘤患者的后期开发阶段。
