1501 ET - Birkenstock's announcement Tuesday that Ivica Krolo will succeed Erik Massmann as chief financial officer of Birkenstock Group was unexpected, Baird analysts say in a research note, though they add that the change shouldn't affect the company's momentum moving forward. Massmann's departure comes about two years after he joined the company, during which time he led it through a successful IPO and secondary offering, they write. Krolo seems well suited as Massmann's successor given his technical accounting skill set and experience with auditing public companies, despite his lack of public-company CFO experience. "We remain confident in the brands' growth trajectory for F2025," they write. Shares fall 2.1%. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
