智通财经APP获悉，在Stellantis NV(STLA.US)董事长约翰·埃尔坎(John Elkann)与美国总统唐纳德·特朗普(Donald Trump)会晤之后，该公司宣布将通过一项数十亿美元的投资计划，进一步扩大其在美国的业务布局。
Stellantis北美区首席执行官安东尼奥·菲洛萨(Antonio Filosa)在致美国员工的内部信中表示，公司计划推进在底特律装配厂生产下一代道奇杜兰戈的项目。
此外，公司还将于2027年重新启用闲置的贝尔维迪尔工厂，用于生产新型中型皮卡，并为伊利诺伊州工厂召回约1,500名工会工人。
同时，Stellantis还将在托莱多装配厂为吉普牧马人和吉普角斗士投入“附加技术和强大的产品改进措施”，并增加托莱多机械工厂的零部件产量。
据了解，该公司计划在科科莫工厂进行额外投资，从2026年开始生产GME-T4 EVO发动机，确保美国成为这种战略动力系统的制造基地，从而扭转此前将生产转移至海外的计划。
值得一提的是，全美汽车工人联合会(UAW)宣布，经过数月的敦促，Stellantis已兑现2023年合同谈判中的承诺，将向美国汽车工人投资数十亿美元。
这一系列举措不仅展现了Stellantis对美国市场的重视，也体现了其对美国本土制造业和就业的支持。
