1129 ET - Amphenol is on a roll -- and the AI boom isn't hurting. Edward Jones analyst David Heger notes that the electronics-manufacturing company makes interconnect systems that are crucial for artificial-intelligence data centers, a rapidly expanding market for which the company is "especially well positioned." Strong growth in Amphenol's communications solutions segment helped propel the company to a major sales jump in the fourth quarter, with both revenue and earnings ahead of Wall Street's expectations. And the market is responding: the stock is up 6.7%, and more than 58% over the past year. (owen.tucker-smith@wsj.com)
