Huntington Ingalls Awarded $296 Million US Air Forces Contract

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) said Tuesday its Mission Technologies unit won a $296 million task order from the US Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces in Africa.

Under the five-year deal, HII will provide technical and analytical support for global air and space operations, the company said.

The contract, awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center's 764 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, covers planning, integration and execution of command and control, integrated air and missile defense, along with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, the company said.
