0719 GMT - WH Smith's exploring of strategic options, including a sale, for its high-street business is a positive, RBC Capital Markets analysts Richard Chamberlain and Manjari Dhar say in a research note. This should allow the U.K. retailer's management to focus on its more attractive travel business--generating 85% of trading profit, RBC says. The outlook for high street looks challenging given pressure on footfall, the analysts say. A potential sale would remove a key overhang on the shares and should make WH Smith more attractive, they add say. (nina.kienle@wsj.com)
