0205 GMT - Chinese shares are mixed in early trading after the country's latest manufacturing PMI fell into contraction territory. The Shanghai Composite Index is 0.4% higher at 3265.48, the Shenzhen Composite Index is 0.2% lower and the ChiNext Price Index is down 1.2%. Major banks are mostly higher. Agricultural Bank of China gains 1.4%, ICBC is up 1.2% and China Construction Bank adds 1.1%. Decliners include Foxconn Industrial Internet, which falls 5.35%, ZTE, which is down 3.3%, and SMIC, which loses 1.9%. China's markets will be closed from Jan. 28 to Feb. 4 for the Lunar New Year holiday. (kimberley.kao@wsj.com)
