消息面上，此前有媒体报道，普拉达正在评估收购意大利高级时装品牌范思哲的可能性，并与顾问合作考虑可能的交易。其中花旗为普拉达提供建议。报道指出，自去年12月中旬以来，越来越多传言称Capri准备出售范思哲和Jimmy Choo两大品牌，并委托巴克莱研究出售可能。
麦格理发布研究报告称，上调普拉达盈利预测，以反映Miu Miu的强劲走势、Prada具韧性的表现及正在改善的经营杠杆。该行预计，普拉达去年第四季收入同比增15%，主要受到Miu Miu强劲的走势以及Prada在各地区具韧性表现的支持。该行预期公司去年下半年的经营盈利同比增20%，主因为经营杠杆及有利的品牌组合。该行相信，Miu Miu仍有充足增长空间，指该品牌截至去年上半年，在全球仅拥有139家门店，远少于Prada的417家门店。
