SKY Network Television (NZE:SKT, ASX:SKT) said it is on track to migrate to a new satellite by May while noting "inherent technology and logistical risks" to the process, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The telecommunications services provider said several critical milestones have been met in the process of migrating the current Optus D2 satellite to a new one. However, the company said some risks remain that are outside its control.
It noted that it is aware of service disruptions flagged by customers during the transition and said it is working to resolve them.
