Maanshan Iron & Steel (HKG:0323, SHA:600808) expects an attributable loss of around 4.60 billion yuan in 2024, wider than the 1.33 billion yuan a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The iron and steel company attributed the wider loss mainly to tightened profit margins in the iron and steel industry and an attributable non-recurring loss of roughly 430 million yuan amid the disposal of non-current assets and other losses.
