SmartRent said it has hired a new chief executive away from Siteimprove.
The provider of smart home and property technology said Monday that Michael Shane Paladin is set to take over as CEO on Feb. 24.
Paladin most recently served as the chief of Siteimprove, a private equity-backed marketing technology software firm. He led a successful turnaround of that business and drove profitable growth, SmartRent said. Paladin also previously worked at SAP.
SmartRent said in July that its CEO at the time, Lucas Haldeman, had stepped down and resigned from the board.
John Dorman, an independent director who took over as chairman over the summer, said the board had decided SmartRent would benefit from a new CEO.
