Jan 27 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Monday:

** Swiss testing and inspection group SGS SGSN.S has ended talks over a potential $30 billion merger with French rival Bureau Veritas BVI.PA after the two sides failed to reach agreement over the deal, it said. nL5N3ON04E

** Singapore's DBS Group DBSM.SI said it acquired an additional stake in Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank (SRCB) for 1.60 billion yuan ($220.4 million), bringing its total ownership in the Chinese lender to 19.40%. nL3N3ON0HM

** UltraTech Cement ULTC.NS, India's top cement producer by capacity, is in advanced talks with German firm Heidelberg HEIG.DE to acquire its Indian unit, Moneycontrol reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. nL3N3ON0B6

** U.S.-based Diversified Energy DEC.N said it will buy private equity-owned Maverick Natural Resources for $1.28 billion, including debt, to expand into the oil and gas-rich Permian Basin. nL2N3OM09A

** Building products distributor QXO QXO.N is preparing to take its all-cash offer to acquire Beacon Roofing Supply BECN.O directly to shareholders after being rejected on several occasions, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday. nL3N3ON023
