电讯盈科(00008.HK) 公布关连交易，PCCW NewsCo以总代价7,000万元，向New Class Holdings收购目标公司Clermont Media。完成后，目标公司将成为其间接全资附属。
目标集团的主要业务包括与名为《Hong Kong Economic Journal》及/或《信报财经新闻》及/或《信报》的报章以及名为《Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly》及/或《信报财经月刊》的月刊有关的业务，并经营HKEJ.COM网站及信报移动应用程序，提供免费及付费订阅内容。
集团认为，收购目标集团将扩大其在该等领域的业务，通过加强现有新闻频道内容及优化集团各类型媒体平台的体验以扩大广告及订阅收入，并利用集团的广泛资源以提高营运效率。
