Brighthouse Financial (BHF) is working with bankers at Goldmans Sachs (GS) and Wells Fargo (WFC) to consider offers to sell itself entirely or raise minority equity, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Brighthouse did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Brighthouse shares were 22% higher in recent trading.
