Mineral explorer Belararox (ASX:BRX) started its field program for the year at the Kalahari Copper Belt project in Botswana, focusing on detailed mapping and soil sampling to refine targets, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The proposed exploration activities will be divided into three main phases: target generation, target definition, and drilling target testing, the filing said.
The initial phase, expected to be completed by February, involves field reconnaissance for soil sampling effectiveness assessment on moderate to lower priority tenement and geological mapping, per the filing.
Shares fell 3% in afternoon trade on Monday.
