Scholar Education's Trustee Buys Back Shares Under Incentive Scheme

Scholar Education Group's (HKG:1769) trustee recently bought back a total of 700,000 shares from the market for HK$2.8 million under its share award scheme, a Tuesday bourse filing stated.

The shares, which represent roughly 0.124% of the firm's issued share capital, were repurchased between Jan. 7 and Jan. 17 at HK$4.07 apiece on average.

Following the purchase, the trustee holds 12,652,000 or 2.24% shares in the educational company.
