Livium (ASX:LIT) said that its strategy is focused on strategic partnerships to facilitate the growth and development of its technologies, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm said it plans to explore deploying growth capital to its lithium-ion battery recycling division to improve operating efficiencies and expand capacity. It has appointed advisors to coordinate talks around partnership and growth funding options, including both strategic partners and other financiers.
It said it is placing a strategic focus on the division due to the potential of increased recycling volumes over the coming years.
It also identified securing funding for an Australian lithium ferro phosphate demonstration plant from government and private strategic partners as key to delivering value in the near term.
It also plans to complete joint development agreement activities with Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN), including assessment of alternate commercialization pathways and selection of the preferred lithium product.
