智通财经APP获悉，全球猪肉生产巨头史密斯菲尔德食品(FSD.US)在首次公开募股中募资5.22亿美元，每股20.00美元的定价低于此前给出的区间。
万洲国际(00288)子公司以每股20美元的价格发售了约2600万股股份。此前的文件显示史密斯菲尔德及其所有者拟以每股23至27美元价格计划发行1740万股股票。
该股预计将于2025年1月28日在纳斯达克开始交易，股票代码为“SFD”。此次发行预计将于2025年1月29日完成。
2013年5月，史密斯菲尔德与双汇国际（万洲国际子公司）达成战略性合并协议，双汇国际以总价71亿美元收购了史密斯菲尔德，标志着两家公司在食品行业的深度合作。
在史密斯菲尔德上市后万洲国际仍将保持对该公司的控制权。
