据报道，美国联邦贸易委员会（FTC）主席安德鲁·弗格森周五表示，员工对重返办公室全职工作感到焦虑，但疫情早已结束了，员工们需要坐在办公桌前。

　　弗格森还表示，虚拟工作“破坏了丰富而独特的文化，这种文化长期以来一直使FTC成为联邦政府中最好的工作场所之一。”他补充说，如果新员工与其他员工面对面交流，而不是通过电脑屏幕，他们会更好地掌握自己的工作。

　　目前，该机构约80%的员工仍然每周大部分时间在家工作。

　　美国总统特朗普在宣誓就职后签署了一项行政命令，要求联邦工作人员返回办公室。一份内部备忘录显示，弗格森预计联邦贸易委员会的工作人员将在3月3日前恢复全职工作。

　　特朗普政府效率部的负责人埃隆·马斯克去年11月曾在一篇专栏文章中写道：“要求联邦雇员每周五天上班，将导致一波自愿离职潮，我们对此表示欢迎：如果联邦雇员不想上班，美国纳税人就不应该为他们在新冠疫情时期呆在家里的特权付钱。”
