1227 ET - ConocoPhillips will likely have solid production in the fourth quarter, Truist Securities analysts say in a research note. The oil giant's results are expected to be mainly driven by the addition of the Marathon Oil assets following the close of the acquisition in November, the analysts say. "Previously completed plans in Canada and Lower 48 [its largest business segment] turnarounds should also provide a solid tailwind pushing activity even higher," the analysts say. Overall, the analysts expect shareholder return remaining strong including material continued stock repurchases and dividends likely higher than the prior quarter's $2.1 billion. Shares rise 0.5% to $102.39. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
