0842 GMT - The U.S. Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates unchanged at Wednesday's rate decision, and could keep them at the same level until mid-2026, BNP Paribas's Anis Bensaidani says in a note. U.S. inflation is expected to pick up as a result of President Trump's economic policies on tariffs and immigration, Bensaidani says. Markets place a 97% probability of the Fed keeping the Fed funds rate unchanged at 4.25% to 4.50% this week, LSEG Refinitiv data show. Financial markets price in a total of 47 basis points of Fed interest-rate cuts by the end of this year. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
