埃隆·马斯克与Visa Inc．达成协议，把这家支付公司作为其把X打造成“万能应用”（everything app）目标的首个重要合作伙伴。

　　根据社交媒体平台X上的帖子，Visa将帮助X用户将钱存入数字钱包，即X Money支付系统的组成部分。Visa将关联客户的借记卡，以便客户在其间汇款，即时将资金转入银行账户。

　　对于打算让用户线上购物、向朋友或企业汇款、以及用X帐户在实体店购物的应用程序而言，支付网络是关键支柱。但马斯克的公司面临着来自点对点支付服务的激烈竞争，PayPal Holdings Inc．的Venmo、背靠银行的Zelle以及苹果公司的钱包仍然是最常用的服务。
