Lucid Group named Taoufiq Boussaid as chief financial officer after a more-than-year-long search to fill the role.

Boussaid is set to start on Feb. 25, the Newark, Calif., electric-vehicle company said.

Sherry House, Lucid's former financial chief, left in December 2023 to lead Ford Motor's finance unit. Since then, Gagan Dhingra has been serving as interim financial chief. Dhingra will be promoted to senior vice president of finance and accounting, the company said.

Boussaid, 53, previously served as group financial chief of Bekaert, a Belgium-listed industrial-steelcoating-technology company. Before that, he worked for Bombardier Transportation, where he became vice president of finance for EMEA and Asia Pacific.

House made a base salary of $597,510 with a total compensation of $10.9 million in 2023.
