--Brighthouse Financial is seeking to sell itself, the Financial Times reports, citing two people familiar with the matter.
--The U.S. provider of life insurance annuities is working with bankers at Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo to consider offers for the whole company or separately to raise minority equity, according to the FT. The process was in the early stages with no certainty that a deal materializes, it added.
--Brighthouse said it didn't comment on rumors and speculation, according to the report. Goldman and Wells Fargo declined to comment, the FT said.
