The company's forthcoming river cruise franchise will sit under its Celebrity brand, whose customers tend to be in their early 50s and RCL could potentially appeal to a younger demographic than the typical Viking Cruises customer. Company executives acknowledged on today's earnings call that the river franchise could lead to customer demographic changes, while they doubled down on their commitment to courting Gen Z and millennial customers across their brands.
