Trump offers to pay out 2 million WFH employees

Washington | The Trump administration on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) offered roughly 2 million federal workers the option to resign but be paid through the end of September, to drastically slash the federal workforce and push out those who oppose the president’s political agenda.

In an email, the Office of Personnel Management, an agency that oversees the federal civilian workforce, gave employees the option to leave their positions by typing the word “resign” into the subject line of an email and hitting send. Workers have until February 6 to accept the offer.
