US Federal Trade Commission discussed Amazon's (AMZN) pricing policies with representatives from PDD Holdings' (PDD) e-commerce platform Temu, The Information reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The questioning comes after reports that Amazon penalized merchants for selling products at cheaper rates on the platform. Amazon is also facing an antitrust lawsuit from FTC for alleged price manipulation.

Amazon, Temu and the FTC did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

Amazon shares were up 1.7% in recent trading, while PDD was down less than 1%.
