Under Armour's 3Q Results Unlikely To Deliver Any Big Surprises -- Market Talk

1246 ET - UBS expects Under Armour to deliver in-line 3Q EPS and unchanged guidance, a performance unlikely to change sell-side estimates, analysts say in a research note. While incremental foreign exchange pressure poses a risk to the sportswear brand's FY25 topline/margin outlook, the analysts say "slightly stronger-than-expected holiday sales and some gross margin upside driven by more aggressive reduction in promotions should help offset the impact." But UBS also believes overall sentiment in bearish, based on conversations with investors. The analysts add that their research and industry data also indicate mixed fundamental trends. UBS lowers its target price to $15 a share from $16. Shares rise 0.3% to $8.29.(sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
