除夕之夜，北京西山八大处公园的古钟再次被敲响，悠扬的钟声回荡在三山八刹之间，为人们带来了新年的祝福与期盼。

除夕夜零点，有着400多年历史的大钟准时响起。这古老的钟声，不仅诉说着时间的更迭，更象征着中华民族传统文化的传承。人们齐聚在八大处公园，共同守岁，在吉祥的钟声中辞别旧岁，迎接新年的到来。

晨钟暮鼓，本是寺院里报时的方式，如今已逐渐演变成为我国民间辞旧迎新、祈福平安的传统文化活动。人们相信，钟声能够使人警觉，消除烦恼，增长智慧，带来好运。

在这个特殊的时刻，每一声钟响都承载着人们对新一年的美好憧憬和祝福，现场的人们或双手合十默默许愿，或欢呼雀跃庆祝新年的到来。一位前来敲钟祈福的市民兴奋地说：“每年除夕都来八大处听钟声，感觉特别有仪式感，希望新的一年家人平安健康，自己工作顺利。”

随着除夕钟声的敲响，八大处公园的新春文化庙会也盛大开启。据悉第十二届八大处新春文化庙会于2025年1月29日（初一）至2月4日（初七）举办。庙会将通过一条主线、四大篇章、数十场主题活动的形式，让大家感受到中华优秀传统文化的魅力，感受幸福中国年的浓厚氛围。
