Far East Holdings International (HKG:0036) received 24 applications for 135,618,927 million rights shares as of Jan. 15, representing 62.26% shares under the deal, a Jan. 22 bourse filing said.
The remaining 82,204,791 unsubscribed and unsold rights shares, representing 37.74% of the shares under the two-for-one rights offer, will be placed to independent investors.
Any rights shares that aren't placed will not be issued by the property investor and the size of the rights issue will be reduced.
