Dubber Appoints Non-Executive Chairman, to Raise AU$1 Million; Shares Fall 19%

Dubber (ASX:DUB) appointed Edward Pretty as non-executive chairman, effective Friday, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

The company's directors and senior management made commitments to raise about AU$1 million via the subscription of 26 million shares at AU$0.04 per share, the filing said.

Shares subscribed by directors are subject to shareholder approval while the 5.8 million shares for AU$230,000 subscribed by the senior management will not be subject to the same condition, the filing added.

Shares of the company fell 19% in recent trade.
