By Isha Marathe

Jan 29 - (The Insurer) - AssuredPartners has hired Jason Sickle, senior vice president of technology operations at Aon-owned NFP, as its chief information officer.

Sickle has over 25 years of experience in the industry, 19 of which he has spent at NFP, which he he joined as VP of technology before serving as SVP of technology operations. Before that, he held managerial roles at BearingPoint and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

As CIO, he will oversee the alignment of technology platforms with AssuredPartners' business objectives.

"[Sickle's] leadership, strategic vision and proven ability to execute will play a critical role in optimising our technology platforms, driving business-relevant innovation and supporting AP's continued growth on an ever-evolving journey," said Heather Sullivan, chief operating officer of AssuredPartners.

Sullivan herself joined AssuredPartners earlier this month after a 16-year tenure at Accenture, beginning her role on 16 January.

In November 2024, AssuredPartners named Accertive's Sean Smith as president of the company, including its retail and wholesale segments, replacing Paul Vredenburg.
