Verizon Communications Says its Verizon Business Unit Gets $66 Million US Coast Guard Task Order

Verizon Communications (VZ) said Wednesday its Verizon Business division has received an up to $66 million task order from the US Coast Guard to provide Wi-Fi, phone, data, and other services.

Under the terms, the company will provide the services to the Guard's Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence office, it said, adding that it will also offer contact center as a service and deliver secure impact level 4 software-based offering for all Coast Guard call centers.

The order spans over one year and may be extended up to eight years, the company added.
