Whirlpool Q4 Ongoing Earnings Rise, Sales Drop; 2025 Outlook Issued -- Shares Down After Hours

Whirlpool (WHR) reported Q4 ongoing earnings late Wednesday of $4.57 per diluted share, up from $3.85 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $4.34.

Net Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $4.14 billion, compared with $5.09 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.24 billion.

The company expects fiscal 2025 adjusted diluted earnings of about $10 per share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $11.46. The company also reiterated revenue guidance for the year of $15.8 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $16.14 billion.

Shares of the company were down nearly 11% in recent after-hours activity.
