Nano Nuclear Energy Shares Climb After Contract for Nuclear-Microreactor Supplies

Nano Nuclear Energy shares rose after the company said it has contracted with Thermal Engineering International to help with NNE's nuclear microreactor.

The stock was up 13%, to $41.46, on Thursday. It has gained about 60% over the past 12 months.

The New York company, which specializes in small modular reactors to produce nuclear energy, plans to work with Thermal Engineering to design and fabricate heat exchangers for its microreactor.

Thermal Energy is a supplier of heat-transfer technology to the electric-power-generation industry.
