MW T-Mobile stock climbs after Q4 earnings beat, boosted by strong net customer adds
T-Mobile US Inc.'s $(TMUS)$ stock was up 9.2% in premarket trading Wednesday after the cell phone carrier's fourth-quarter profit and revenue beat Wall Street's estimates, boosted by strong net customer additions.
The company's profit of $2.57 a share beat the FactSet consensus of $2.29 a share. Total revenue was $21.872 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet were looking for revenue of $21.333 billion.
During the quarter, T-Mobile's postpaid net customer additions were 1.9 million, above the FactSet consensus of 1.742 million.
