1402 ET - The progress of CGI's systems integration and consulting business in F1Q may be an early sign of a turnaround, according to Raymond James' in a note. Analyst Steven Li says it's still early, but a pick up in this segment is critical to organic growth acceleration. He notes that SI&C recovered to 114% book-to-bill from 85% last quarter. But he also cautions that this could be a one-off. "One quarter does not a trend make but the improved SI&C bookings (+2% y/y) is notable and may suggest a bottom," Li says.
