Singtel's (SGX:Z74) wholly-owned Australian subsidiary, Optus Finance, signed AU$1.95 billion worth of committed revolving credit facility with 12 banks, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The facility, guaranteed by Singtel Optus, will be used to refinance existing credit facilities and for general corporate purposes.
Shares of the telecommunications services provider were up over 2% in recent trading.
