Hundreds of mourners turned out to Wichita City Hall in Kansas on Thursday afternoon, some wiping away tears, to share their shock at the crash of an airplane from their city and turn to a higher power. Faith leaders from across the region led the group in prayers for the victims of the crash, calling upon community members to draw strength from one another.
Though it isn't yet clear which or how many locals were on the plane, attendees called the tragedy an enormous hit to a close-knit city. "I'm sure as names come out-all of us know so many people," said Roy Moye III, an aerospace engineer and musician. "It's just unspeakable."
